The quest to lead a healthy lifestyle is daunting, to say the least. This is especially true considering all of the conflicting information with which we are bombarded on a daily basis. Should I drink coffee? Should I not drink coffee? Soy is good for me…right? A glass of red wine with dinner is good for my blood. Or, was it white wine? Diet soda is a healthy alternative to regular soda…isn’t it? It’s enough to make your head spin.
When it comes to nutrition, the reality is that we are rarely aware of what we are feeding our bodies. Considering the high toxicity levels of most things that we ingest, most of us would probably rather not know. Unfortunately, ignorance is not always bliss.
